When he first went to hospice, I dedicated a St. Jude novena to him. He is the patron saint of hopeless cases.

After it ended, I started a St. Benedict novena for him. That was yesterday, which I think is interesting timing, as we’re reminded of his own ascension to Heaven through the prayers.
