While my parents have impeccable taste in 🍷fine things, they do not live for material possessions; they’re smart in their savings, and they spend wisely ~ “on necessary things”. Yes, my mom loves to 👜shop, but she’s never gone beyond her means and usually hits clearance racks or bargain aisles to score 👛designer products at discounted prices.

Even though my dad has taught me fundamentals (math📐 * 🔭science🔬 * 🇺🇸politics) growing up and accompanied me to the bank to open my very first accounts that I still maintain to this day, I admit that I’ve gotten carried away and spent recklessly (on higher-end name-brand everything and flights to rack up the miles on one of my credit cards) when I earned substantial income and even after.
