My top tip to achieving a lasting nail paint job:
Run freshly coated nails in cold water and dodge hot water!
- Cold water seals in moisture, while hot water repels and drys it out
- If I hand wash dishes, I wear special gloves
- I also wear gloves during hands-on activity

With spring in full swing and summer on the way, I have these two tips for this Beauty Tuesday on: how to make (not cake) your face after lack of sleep ~ like what some of us teachers experience ~ and protection to beat spring showers and the summer heat …

As a teacher, I’ve stayed up late creating assignments and grading on many nights, and as a graduate student, I’ve burned the midnight oil studying and writing research papers (now on my final one for my Ph.D.: the dissertation).
