Throwback Thursday (2/22/2009): Pro-Life for my Profile, taken the last time I visited my motherland, the P.I. … Rest in ✌Peace, Unborn Babies whose Lives were terminated too soon
With many of my special loved ones being moms or mommies-to-be, they’re not just “eating for 2” (or more) ~ they’re also exercising for multiples as well!
Take care of your baby bump by working outwith your bundle of joy(s) while s/he’s/they’re in the womb!
Here are ways to stay in shape while* you’re expecting and after** you give birth!
I didn’t need much muscle to handle my *USAF* wife bestie’s baby (whose birthday is the day before the *4th of July*), but at least my arm muscles were toned right down to the bone! #DISPObustAFlow
***DISCLAIMER: Please consult with your physician prior to starting an exercise program***
Here are some sessions that I selected specifically for *pregnant women and **newborn mothers!
With all of the abundant activities that have called for my attention lately, I’ve been mustering up every extra waking moment away to work on my dissertation ~ which is why I’ve actually appreciated these recent snow days.
Some of my colleagues have considered their own hours per day of dedication on their doctoral research as shift work
Others have only been able to devote even just a few minutes per day to their study
Lately, I’ve fallen under the latter category, rather than the former. Once upon a time, I was able to spend a whole work day’s worth, but with countless demands, I’m fortunate to invest up to an hour or so; for instance, with the additional studies that my department requires for us to review for our doctoral degrees, I’ve included at least one more per day. Regardless of how much time I’ve been able to write and research, the process is paying off as I keep making progress
My Public Speaking students schooled me on this term last week, as we went over figurative words, including abbreviations and acronyms. At first, I thought that it was an abbreviation because they told me that it was an alternative to baby or babe, but then they told me that it is short for the above; hence it indeed is an acronym… I, in turn, declared that nobody has called me that or put me before anyone else, yet I have the same BAE everyday:
GOD!!!
☼Beautiful Bright Breezy Day☼ †THANKS to GOD† whose ♥LOVE♥ shines from HEAVEN above
He comes first and foremost in my life, in everything that I do. Thanks to Him, I have been blessed beyond measure. Just yesterday, I found out the wonderful news that I’ve been waiting for:
My doctoral dissertation has been approved by my school’s research board!
Bishop Mike’s beautiful †cross† from his Holy Pilgrimage to Bethlehem
Since my classmate who graduated last year consulted with me, his words have resonated in my mind, that my own Ph.D. will happen…
in GOD‘s time.
Considering that
GOD is my #1
I must LOVE and serve him ~ practice what I preach to my own Religious Education students, like through these lessons.
I can’t work out because I can’t take time away from my Baby👶.
Rather than saying, “I can’t,” say, “I can,” and do take your Baby!
Here are 3 sure-fire🔥 ways that both you and Baby can exercise together!
* Push the stroller while jogging! {like my friend, Amy the Birthday Girl, did with her son, Nathan the Birthday Boy}
• The stroller with your Baby provides resistance, in particular for your arms! 💪
• The jogging provides cardio, while you tone up your legs!
* Do sit-ups while showing your Toddler flash cards! {like on my novela📺 Be Careful with My Heart💖}
• The sit-ups work your abs!
• You’re teaching your Toddler new words at the same time!
Baby GirlMeadow
* Do lunges with your Baby on your knee! {like mi Cuñada Janet with her Baby Girl Meadow (5mos) ~ mi Cuñado Ray suggested that I do them with their daughter Toddler Sylvia (18mos) for the more advanced version}
• Lifting your child helps your upper body and core as you switch legs ~ therefore, this turns into a total body training session!
