The 🎅holidays🎄 may be over, but The Best Man †Holiday† is the perfect 🎬movie🎥 for any season and reason!
Last weekend, our latest ❄️snow⛄️ series out of a countless many, I popped the 💽DVD📀 in because
- Watching snow from both my 🏠windows🏡 and on the 📺screen💻 was surreal
- I sought inspiration for ✒️writing💻 a prospective 📚biography📖
- I sought more inspiration for establishing a 🏤school🎓
- I sought inspiration for dressing in black and white for my student’s parents’ 💒wedding👰 where I’ll proclaim🎤 the 📕readings📘
Yet this is by far one of my fave flicks for

Yesterday, my student who I tutor and I went shopping for plants!

I want to emphasize to my pupil and all of my students the importance of maximizing their full potential.
These are the flowers that he picked out!

Hibiscus in the (green)house!
We need this vegetation for his science project …

Hibiscus Red for ♪♫Pop♫♪
… Which is to determine the effect of ♫♪music♪♫ on plant growth!

Hibiscus Mandarin for ♪♫Hip Hop♫♪
He picked the hibiscus because they’re barely growing, so they have yet to bloom and blossom, plus their petals will look beautiful in hair!

As both an educator (college professor, religious education teacher, private tutor) and a student (to finish my doctoral degree this year and had a call to confirm my dissertation chair this week ~ to defend and become DOCTOR this ☼summer☼ then walk this fall) who can empathize with my own students, this ♣spring♣ semester thus far already has made waves!

This RGV press release 📰 about my summer🌅 speech class in South Texas🌴 reminds me of the skills that my students practiced that still are required to succeed in my own PhD📜!
As another year approaches, I can’t just sit back, wait and wonder: will this be my year? First of all, I have faith🙏 that GOD☝️ determines the fate. I can do what is within my control, and like my students, I can strive to produce high-quality work! Struggle and sacrifice will be worth the price!
Almost exactly two years ago when I attended 🎆New Year’s🎇 Mass💒, our Deacon spoke🎤 of the difference between wishful💭 and resolved👊 thinking. While I can wish all I want to graduate🎓, I must move forward once I resolve to take whatever steps👣 necessary to make progress!

Happy Belated Labor Day!

Today’s Thirsty Thursday segment refers to doing GOD’s work, not Man’s.

Glorify GOD’s grace with our gifts.

My Church buddy, Joe, reminded me that through our ministry, we’re mainly here to serve GOD above all else ~ giving him our BEST.

Thanks to Joe, Evie and I’ve embarked on team teaching Religious Education!
Our endeavor can help prepare us for the Catholic school, but either way, we’ll be reaping our rewards to head closer to Heaven.

1:11 ~ make a wish!!!
