told me that he’d support me 100% when I applied for my doctorate
shopped with me for my presentation materials for my public defense

taught me how to read at the tender age of two ~ which helped me articulate
wore sweet-smelling perfume that inspired my own fondness for fragrances
worked out to exercise videos ~ which spurred me on to publish about them
pointed out to me that my conduct affects my own relationships

Tomorrow is the Big Day , as my family and take off to my Dissertation Defense !
Meanwhile, we actually caught three films on DVD during THANKSgiving weekend:
Initially, I only was interested in Aloha , mainly for the Air Force (not to mention Bradley Cooper , Emma Stone who I especially liked as Gwen Stacy from The Amazing Spider-Man , and Rachel McAdams from The Notebook that we watched on our first Movie Night with my parents as empty nesters a decade ago) ~ but I ended up sticking around with my folks for the rest to make the most out of our time together (and ended up getting hair inspiration from the other two movies ~ especially from Blake Lively as Adeline , a.k.a. Amanda and Jenny).

With last weekend being full of festivities, we were in great food and company! My LMT girl Lisa Fight Night UFC main event: Anderson Silva post-2013 leg injury) on Super Bowl SundayBig Game with my Papa Jun
The commonalities between both meals were:
pizza (Little Caesar’s & Pizza Hut )dip (Ranch & Nutella
oodles of noodles (post-fight & pre-game)veggies (fresh & roasted)
Fight Night Feast : {clockwise from top L} Little Caesar’s Pretzel Pizza from yours truly * fruit w/chocolate fondue made by yours truly (Nutella Philadelphia Cream Cheese ) * veggies w/Ranch dressing * slider sandwiches w/Dijon mustard, turkey & cheese (either Swiss or Munster)
Portion control : Lisa smaller pieces, so more could be up for grabs!
These slider sandwiches were a hit! Hands down : they scored a touchdown @ this table!
Fun fact : Did you know that you burn more calories than you consume when you munch on celery due to the crunch? Challenge accepted!
After the fruit was gone, a fellow cat mama & I turned to the carrots to dip into the chocolate !

My mom went happy on kale , both in the chili & in these chips baked in EVOO + in this green drink más avocado !
