For the past few CHRISTmases, to follow in the example of the blessed birthday celebrant, JESUS, my family and I have contributed to those in need instead of each other. I’ve offered gifts to my Angel Tree children and am donating more to the Salvation Army today after my Holy Hour.
And if we really are poor ~ in health, spirit, or otherwise ~ let us seek the LORD for strength to overcome.
Volunteering our time⏰ and treasure to serving our Church💒 (mine is through ministry and teaching ~ photos below are of the Oblate Missions River Rocks that I brought back for my students)
Donating our treasure (i.e., money💸) through tithing💰
The Key to Happiness:
*STEWARDSHIP*
We can never give enough, so let’s start with gratitude and go on with a generous attitude!
Last but not least, we’ll explore the sign of:
*Evangelism*

Kelly, M. (2012). The four signs of a Dynamic Catholic: How engaging 1% of Catholics could change the world. Cincinnati, OH: Beacon.
From the same author of Rediscovering Catholicism📖 that I read last year during Lent, Matthew Kelly conducted a 🔭study🔬, and according to his 📊results📈, only 7% master ALL of the Above. I’d like to become part of that 📉statistic✅, and as someone who demonstrates the top three, I also pursue to practice the fourth by bringing more people to the faith and increasing that percentage.
Key points that I’ve found here so far that confirms my own actions include:
Intentionality ~ so I’m delighted that I’ve been on point with preventing distractions by disconnecting from my devices and social media to keep up with my prayers, priorities and practices!
Spiritual Health ~ in which Kelly includes a road behavior barometer as an indicator that makes sense of how our mood reflects our joy or discontent
☝️GOD bless you all!✌️

Since my R.E. students and my mom contributed the most non-perishable food items to our 🍞Loaves and Fishes🐟 food drive, we won a pizza🍕 party!
As we were about to cover the Last Supper🍷 in last night’s 📖class, we shared our meal. I couldn’t have been more blessed🙏 to have helpful students who offered to serve each other.
Therefore, they deserved to earn 📜awards, hence the ceremony👏 that we had during our 🍛dinner.
That’s exactly what I did when last weekend, and I usually grab an apple when I’m on-the-go. Thanks to my family, the food that they did provide helped tide me over during the two 500+mile rides! What would I do without their generosity?
Look who’s welcoming home …
When I left the Valley a week ago, mi Cuñada stocked up on snacks to last me a week’s worth of survival in the wilderness! Starbucks was where it was at!
… It’s Annie!
My GODmother hooked us up with pasalubong, so the mocha cake came in handy!
Ninang Auring‘s such a giver!
Then when I took off back to el Valle, my dad made a pot of Papa Jun Joe, and my sister hooked me up with horchata and breakfast tacos from La Popular!
