Meanwhile, we actually caught three films on DVD during THANKSgiving weekend:
Initially, I only was interested in Aloha , mainly for the Air Force (not to mention Bradley Cooper , Emma Stone who I especially liked as Gwen Stacy from The Amazing Spider-Man , and Rachel McAdams from The Notebook that we watched on our first Movie Night with my parents as empty nesters a decade ago) ~ but I ended up sticking around with my folks for the rest to make the most out of our time together (and ended up getting hair inspiration from the other two movies ~ especially from Blake Lively as Adeline , a.k.a. Amanda and Jenny).

During this week’s conference call with my dissertation chair , she called me
conscientious .
I not only accepted this ~ to ♥heart♥ and absolutely at face value ~ as the best compliment from her (when we were discussing the running and re-running of my statistics for my research results ) but also am ensuring that I live up to this standard .
When my cohort members and I were admitted into our doctoral program , conscientiousness * happened to be one of the personality traits for which we tested and that we studied in our leadership theories literature. It comes from the (1b) Big Five OCEAN ” acronym:
O penness (or O riginality)*C onscientiousness (or C onsolidation)
E xtroverion ~ I’ve also consistently tested high for this in the (2) Myers-Briggs ENFJ for E xtraversion • In tuition • F eeling • J udging) both when I took it as a psych minor for my undergrad and again in doc school A greeableness (or A ccommodation)N euroticism (or Emotional In stability) ~ the reverse of this attribute as leaders and doc students is ideal to deal
According to the (1a) instrument provided by my doctoral degree program , someone who is conscientious is “achievement”-oriented and “self-disciplined” ~ so this implies that conscientiousness involves intentions (definitely something for which I strive ).
Currently, my conscientiousness has stuck with me through school ~ as both a scholar educator

What is your calling in life?
We all have a purpose, and our greatest sense of purpose must come from a higher power.
In my case, as a †Catholic, I’ve sought †GOD’s will for me.
I’ve always considered two options:
having a spouse in the Sacrament of ♥Marriage♥
or ♥marrying♥ †GOD† in the religious life (I visited with a sister of the religious order from my †Catholic† university a few years ago)
However, I still can be a single lay person who ♥loves♥ and serves †GOD† with all of my ♥heart♥ and soul .

Now that the we’re back into the swing, I’ve resumed teaching🎓 and really need to set aside extra time exclusively for my 📜paper …
Before returning to the college🏤 for 🍁fall🍂 term , my parents flew✈️ me to visit family as my 🎈🎁💝🎂birthday🎆🎇🎊🎉 trip ! Despite needing a brief 🌴vacay getaway, I still reviewed👓 and revised✒️ my draft📝 every single day, whether in flight🚁 or during down time.
However, I still had plenty of entertainment🎬 on my 📱iPhone, laptop and hard copy📚 to keep me occupied while I was in the friendly skies🌐 or on my own:
I would’ve added more movies🎥 to the mix, but not all of my apps📳 are up to par. Either way, I stayed occupied when I wasn’t 😲😵asleep😴💤 or visiting with my relatives ~ my Mami Aya
Plus, I packed👜 light💡 with only one pair of shoes👡 to match my 👗outfits!
Paired both of these OOTDs with white sandals before Labor Day! Skirts and scarves galore! 👛🎒
