Spirit Sunday: All Saints

Happy All Saints Day!

Bishop Mike has called us “saints in the making” who will join the saints someday to whom we pray.

Currently, I’m in a Saint Benedict Novena, initiated by my Bestie Evie (who claims him as her patron after her own healing).

Since he is the Patron Saint for Students, I’ve sought his intercession as I enter my round(s) of full faculty dissertation defense …

During my committee defense period, I went through these Novenas:

• Santo Niño (Child Jesus)
• Sacred ♥Heart♥ of Jesus
• Holy Spirit

Who are your favorite saints? Mine include:

• St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint for Animals
• St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, an education advocate
• Saints Helen and Rose, my chosen Confirma†ion patrons

Others who I admire are, but aren’t limited to:

• St. Joseph the Worker 
• St. Gerard, Protector of Expectant Mothers
• St. Pope John Paul II

Saints are special, and I like this analogy that Evie introduced to me:

They are our defense attorneys who advocate for us as we enter the stand at the gates of Heaven for GOD to judge our fate.

No matter how far I go, I always aim to stay close to GOD.

As I glorify Him through everything that I do, I believe that I’ll reap the rewards promised in Heaven.

I ♥LOVE♥ †GOD† with all of my ♥heart♥ & my ☼soul☼ ✌

Regardless of my joys and sorrows, peaks and valleys, the LORD resides by my side, and I seek Him for eternal hope.

Within the past less-than-48 hours⏰ alone, I’ve received wonderful news from different friends 🌍far🌎 🌏away:

• On Wednesday, my SFAM 📱texted📲 me her baby 💝shower☔️ photos
• Last night, my 🏈🏀⚾️sports⚽️🎾⛳️ 📺journalist📰 bud emailed me a picture of his newborn
• Today, I received one of my nearest and dearest’s pregnancy announcement!

This past weekend, I attended the Most Holy Trinity Mass with my family, we celebrated:

* The Father
* The Son
* The Holy Spirit

Catholics believe in all three forms. Whether you believe in all three or at least one form of GOD, your life is fulfilled when you surround yourself with fellow believers.

The more, the merrier!

When we warmly welcome others into our Church, we bring ourselves closer to Heaven.

DON’T force our beliefs down people’s throats. Teach by example.

When I discussed GOD’s calling for me to open a Catholic school to another Ph.D. yesterday, that was one of his many pieces of advice.

Yesterday, I enjoyed wholesome meals and the pleasant company of wonderful friends who support His plan to establish a school. We also remember to turn to Him, to praise Him during our joys, and to seek guidance during our sorrows.

The LORD leads us to special someones along a path that He paves toward Heaven, so I’m grateful to GOD for showing His will and way today, everyday and always.

And I’m not just mentioning people, but ALL of the LORD’s creations as well…

Including creatures who are drawn to the Church…
