Texas Peach for me, Blackberry Bourbon for him

When we celebrated my buddy’s book being published this past week,

The jalapeño was more than the garnish to this Texas Peach ~ it added the kick!

I had to have steak before Meatless Friday …

So I’ve had my share of Caesar Salads, but I liked the presentation on this square plate

And since we were in conference at Corpus Christi,

Surf ‘n’ Turf + *Loaded Baked Potato & Veggies for yours truly, Scallops with Lobster Cream Sauce & Butternut Squash for my friend

I might as well have Surf ‘n’ Turf!

It helps to have the fixings* on the side to limit my portions!

Water Street Seafood Company offered one of the best key lime pie that I’ve ever tried!

The raspberry drizzle was icing to this pie!

Lime was in the air, both at the beach and the hotel!
