Walking uphill in these platforms is a workout in itself! No pole or 18 hole!

Taking a break from dancing & photographing … Here’s how I did my hair (when it held up): I kept it braid ed all day ’til I got ready, then separated into 2 sections ~ tease d the top & put into a braid to wrap around the bottom, which I curl ed.

On this icy winter day, I woke up from having a dream that I thought was worth sharing with the lesson that it taught me: we deserve to earn incentives if we take steps toward our goals. In other words:
Let’s reward ourselves for our accomplishments.
In this dream, I was reading an article about someone whose positive reinforcement would be trip incentives once she’d reach an accomplishment… Then I realized that sometimes I procrastinate instead of motivate myself to keep working on my dissertation by rewarding myself before I do my tasks. So, today, on another cold one, I pledge to reward myself after I invest my effort!
Here’s how I’ll provide positive reinforcement for persisting through my research:
