After the former Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets’ Brett Favre‘s on-and-off again retirement drama💔 ~ I mean, news📰 ~ I’ve missed seeing him on the field …

Until he returned to Lambeau Field🏈 for his induction into the Packers’ Hall of Fame🏆 yesterday!

Highlights from Favre’s career, c/o 🏈NFL🏉

Aside from his 👊🏼grid iron💪🏼 persona, I still enjoy watching Favre on

  • Wranglers Jeans👖 commercials📺
  • There’s Something About Mary💽😅😹

Fun Favre Fact:

He’s a fellow †faithful† ☝🏼Catholic✌🏼!

  • When I sang in my Valley Church💒 🎤Choir, a ❄️Winter⛄️ 🐎Texan🏇🏽 from Wisconsin informed me that he stood by her during Mass🙏🏼 at her regular Parish, and he was way taller than her!
  • Soon after she shared with me her story, this sighting was published 📰

With so many candidates in the running for Commander-in-Chief, I propose

Great American🇺🇸 Brett Favre for 👔President! I’ll be your campaign manager!

Happy Belated #GenTX Day!

Yesterday, we celebrated our advocacy for higher ed in the State of Texas🏇 by sharing our college shirts on 📳social media ~ great timing before my school trip today!

This raised my awareness that I’ve been showing team spirit📢 a great deal lately!

Our Lady of the Lake University ~ where I’m finishing my PhD🎓

Duke University ~ for Coach K‘s 5th NCAA🏆

Texas Lutheran University ~ whose basketball🏀 team won the SCAC

Cisco College ~ where I teach speech🎤 before my R.E. 💒

Since I’m still surveying Texas student-athletes for my dissertation, NCAA players in the Southland Conference (Division I), Lone Star Conference (Division II), Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference (Division III) and NAIA Red River Conference can participate here!
